     I think that this law that Canada has passed is good because people can let out information out to the public that can hurt them. This is good because the information that that leak can really influence peoples views on the company or the person they are writing about. Also it is a good law because it protects the people that are trying to let the public know what people are doing, or planning in doing.

Horrible car accident with many injuries.  On Saturday, July, 15, 2015 in Smallsville Canada, there was a car accident on highway 123, at 1:00 o'clock  in the morning. A giant moose stepped onto the highway and caused 3 cars to crash into each other, there were 3 cars that crashed and 6 people were sent to hospital. With help from the local firemen, EMT's and police officers, there were 3 people rescued from the cars, in one case they had to use the jaws of life. There  was no casualties. It took the firemen 2 hours to stop one car from burning. There was extensive damage to all the vehicles, none of them will be driven again. "The fog was very think and it was hard to see the road a head," said Bob Fone, on the way to the hospital, " the moose came out of no where, it was so big, there was nothing we could do to get by it.      Most people, like myself believe that all news that is presented to them is factual and do not bother checking to see if that if actually the case. I know my self that I do not check other sources to see if what I had read was true.  After reading the two articles it made a lot of sense to me that they were fabricated. I agree, liars convince themselves that what they are saying is true then try to convince other that what they made up is the truth. I do believe that collages and universities should see if their students can handle being a journalist because they have to make sure that what they write is not an lie and that they are not choosing sides. I believe that the ombudsmen helps with newspaper and companies because when issues arise they are there to help .

Journal Entry Reflection Entry #1 – First Newspapers

     There are many differences between papers today and the first news papers. The first news papers were very short, and today's there is very many pages and they are full of many different kinds of information, like sports,local news and global news. The look of the papers are completely different, for example papers back then were on rough edged and jagged paper, now they're on nice neat paper and some are available online.       The press is able to do so much more now with their topics and they can write almost anything they want. Their topics can be more brod and back in the day they could only write about certan things and people thought that the paper was a bad thing. If the government was in control of the news papers people would not know half of the stuff they would know now. I don't think that our government should have that authority over peoples stories because they could stop the journalists from writing very important stories about what the government'
