Excellent Speech: Clap for Xi Jinping  (soft)
   The Chinese government made an app that you can virtually clap for the president. They have made a game that you can applaud the president's speech and the people of China that missed it can make up for it by giving "claps" on the game. Users watch short clips of the speech after the clip is over, players have 18 seconds to give as many claps as they can by pressing the yellow button at the bottom of the phone screen. The game was played 860 million times since October 18th, 2017.

 NEO-NAZIS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN GAINESVILLE (hard)

      Three Neo-Nazis were arrested on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 for allegedly shooting people who had been holding anti-Nazi signs following a speech at the University of Florida by Richard Spencer. This is hard news because it is important news about things that are going on that can, and do affect people. The three men  Colton Fears, 28, and his brother William, 30, from Pasadena, Texas, and Tyler Tenbrink, 28 are being held in Alachua County Jail, Tenbrink was already a felon. 

 THE 6 CRAZIEST CIA PLOTS TO KILL  FIDEL CASTRO
     Once the Trump administration came into power they released a bunch of classified information about plots to kill Castro.  This is in the middle because it would have been hard news when it happened but now it was so many years ago that it does not really affect anyone now.

     There are many differences between papers today and the first news papers. The first news papers were very short, and today's there is very many pages and they are full of many different kinds of information, like sports,local news and global news. The look of the papers are completely different, for example papers back then were on rough edged and jagged paper, now they're on nice neat paper and some are available online.       The press is able to do so much more now with their topics and they can write almost anything they want. Their topics can be more brod and back in the day they could only write about certan things and people thought that the paper was a bad thing. If the government was in control of the news papers people would not know half of the stuff they would know now. I don't think that our government should have that authority over peoples stories because they could stop the journalists from writing very important stories about what the government'

Horrible car accident with many injuries.  On Saturday, July, 15, 2015 in Smallsville Canada, there was a car accident on highway 123, at 1:00 o'clock  in the morning. A giant moose stepped onto the highway and caused 3 cars to crash into each other, there were 3 cars that crashed and 6 people were sent to hospital. With help from the local firemen, EMT's and police officers, there were 3 people rescued from the cars, in one case they had to use the jaws of life. There  was no casualties. It took the firemen 2 hours to stop one car from burning. There was extensive damage to all the vehicles, none of them will be driven again. "The fog was very think and it was hard to see the road a head," said Bob Fone, on the way to the hospital, " the moose came out of no where, it was so big, there was nothing we could do to get by it.      Most people, like myself believe that all news that is presented to them is factual and do not bother checking to see if that if actually the case. I know my self that I do not check other sources to see if what I had read was true.  After reading the two articles it made a lot of sense to me that they were fabricated. I agree, liars convince themselves that what they are saying is true then try to convince other that what they made up is the truth. I do believe that collages and universities should see if their students can handle being a journalist because they have to make sure that what they write is not an lie and that they are not choosing sides. I believe that the ombudsmen helps with newspaper and companies because when issues arise they are there to help .
